Comments from Coach Reinert
"I'm proud of the effort it took to come away with a respectful result against a tough opponent tonight. We showed maturity and depth which allowed us to grind on a 110 minute battle.
We have continued to improve as a group and are starting to become more dangerous in the attacking third. Our chances are real and our attacking presence is a huge reason we earned another shutout tonight."
Simpson is in the midst of a five-game homestand and competes in game No. 2 on Sunday against Knox. Kickoff will begin at 2 p.m.
