LA CROSSE, Wis. -- Dylan Kalinay placed ninth in the 110-meter hurdles to close Simpson's weekend at the 2018 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday.

Kalinay ran 14.80 to finish just .04 seconds away from a second outdoor All-America honor. The stacked field featured eight All-Americans from the previous two national championships -- the indoor 60-meters earlier this spring and the 2017 110 hurdles.

The senior from Toledo, Iowa closes his illustrious career as a two-time All-American, an Iowa Conference MVP, a nine-time conference champion and a 14-time IIAC Performer of the Week. He holds four school records: the indoor 60-meter hurdles and 4x200-meter relay and the outdoor 110-meter hurdles and 4x100-meter relay.
