|Title:||Asst. Men's Soccer Coach|
The 2018 season marks Jim Frizzell's eighth as an assistant coach for the Simpson men's soccer team.
A former Simpson soccer player, Frizzell has been a key part of Simpson's turnaround. Simpson has won 10-or-more games in five of the last seven seasons with Frizzell assisting on the field and in the recruiting efforts. A 2011 graduate of Simpson College, Frizzell was a four-year letterwinner for the Storm soccer team.
Frizzell took over as the head boys soccer coach at Urbandale High School in 2016 and has led the J-Hawks to a record of 35-19 in three seasons. Urbandale went 14-4 in 2017 and qualified for the State Tournament for the first time since 2008.
In July 2015, Frizzell married another Storm soccer alum in Megan Petersen. The couple has one child, Nora.
