BURLINGTON, Iowa -- In the final match of the fall season, the Simpson men's golf team finished fourth at the Southeastern Community College and William Penn Invitational on Tuesday.
Hosted at Spirit Hollow Golf Course in Burlington, Iowa, Hogan Rockhold tallied his second top-10 performance of the year with a seventh place finish over the two-day contest. Rockhold fired a 163, with a low-round score of 81 to cap off his first semester of collegiate competition.
Grady Haynes made his debut for the Storm with a 172 to finished tied for 10th. Nathan Eaton carded a 174 for 14th, while Lucas Hemphill followed in 25th. Derek Maxfield rounded out the Simpson golfers in 30th.
Competition resumes in the spring for the men.
