Dan Kelley will begin his first year on the sideline as the offensive line coach for the Simpson Storm football program in 2019.
Prior to joining the staff, Kelley served in the same capacity for four seasons at Morningside College. The Mustangs won the NAIA National Championship in 2018 and set numerous school records. Under Kelley's guidance of the offensive line, Morningside ranked first in six offensive categories in the nation. While at the school, the Mustangs held a 50-5 career mark.
Kelley worked at Millikin University for a year as the tight ends and running backs coach.
Kelley is no stranger to the Storm or Indianola community, as he graduated in 2013 with a degree in history from Simpson. Kelley was an assistant offensive line coach during the 2013 season for the Storm and earned three letters while competing inside Bill Buxton Stadium for Simpson. Kelley was an IIAC First Team All-Conference selection in 2012.
A native of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, Kelley will live in Indianola with his wife, Shelby.
